RegNetwork is an open-source and widely used resource that comprehensively catalogs the regulatory interactions between transcription factors (TFs), microRNAs (miRNAs), and their target genes in both human and mouse.

In RegNetwork 2025, we significantly expand the database content by performing a large-scale update of the existing TF-miRNA-target gene interactions and incorporating new datasets for long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and circular RNAs (circRNAs). Additionally, we have developed a scoring mechanism to quantify the reliability of regulatory interactions, which underpins the construction of both a core and a complete dataset, offering users multiple options.

RegNetwork Overview

With the inclusion of lncRNA and circRNA data, the GRN data in RegNetwork has been further enhanced, simplifying the retrieval process of existing GRN data, improving data usability, and enabling researchers to better explore complex transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulatory mechanisms.
